Steamboat Velo & The Steamboat Stage Race depend on the continued support of numerous businesses and individuals. When the idea was first born for a new bike race event on Labor Day weekend, many were quick to write it off as an idea that had failed before. But thankfully a group of local businesses rallied behind the vision of a four day road bike race that would take riders all over Routt County and invite out of towners to stay for three or more nights as guests in Steamboat. That vision has now grown to supporting a full race team, but the goal of supporting competitive cycling is still at our core and one all of our sponsors embrace. In return for their support we make every effort possible to present them as important partners with the cycling community and put their info in front of the 350+ participants in the SSSR.
